Meet the Founder
Brett Markinson has been building businesses for thirty years, with his biggest wins coming from foreseeing and then catalyzing market realignments in digital media, internet commerce, tax management software, and now decentralized finance. His great fortune has been to be at the right place and the right time with the right business, investors, and game plan for when those realignments occur.
Brett’s experience selling non-linear digital editing bays to Hollywood in the 90’s helped him foresee the Web’s transformative impact on media, lead generation and the development of eCommerce. His businesses have been nominated four times for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of Year Award. He has been a part of the winning team twice with Hautelook.com and LowerMyBills.com. His focus now is the digitization of new asset classes and services for a Web3-enabled global financial system.
Brett founded Innovent Capital Group as an incubator and platform for launching businesses that leverage disruptive technology to innovate old ways of doing business in finance, real estate and decarbonization. Brett and his team manage multiple enterprises across those areas of focus, prototyping and launching new projects which fulfill Brett’s strategic vision with a Crawl, Walk, Run approach.
